DirtRocker
Bad Timing, Silver Lining. No one’s worth their salt
No one’s ever taught him better
It ain’t all his fault
Where they took him, I keep looking. Was shown but don’t recall
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all..
Moving faster, towards disaster. I’m not afraid to fall
No one’s ever taught me better
Just silence on the call
Where they led me and where they left me, the same place as lost
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all..
Bad Timing, Silver Lining. It ain’t no one’s fault.
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all
It’s no shocker, the dirt rocker went missing after all
Maybe shaking just a little of the country dust off for this album, but still with the on-the-nose, clever, relatable lyrics, this is Esther’s most innovative album yet
P.S. really missin ol’ Matt Bell on the lapsteel James Champion
It's really DBT at their finest. Reminds me at times of Southern Rock Opera, also their mid 2000s records, other times some of their more recent albums only more polished and cohesive and better melodies, better hooks, better lyrics.
Long live DBT! bdean42
